VorTeX is a high-quality, device-independent, document processing systemthat has the advantages of source-based systems (e.g., TeX) and WYSIWYGsystems. VorTeX tools include DVI previewers for use under SunTools andthe X Window System, a PostScript interpreter with outline fonts,extensive EMACS macros, various printer drivers, font editors, and auto-indexing programs.UCBPS -- a faithful implementation of the PostScript page descriptionlanguage under Berkeley UNIX.
